What if the GOAT of the NFL, chose the MLB? It almost happened. The Montréal Expos drafted Tom Brady out of high school. He instead chose college and football, and the rest is history. But what if it wasn’t? What if he stuck with the Expos? It’s the type of thought that could go viral on a Tuesday morning. Especially if that Tuesday was 12/12. Now officially known as “Brady Day.” Guess that’s one way to get millions upon millions of eyeballs for a brand with something as trivial as a baseball card.

The film was chock full of easter eggs for fans, including an ad within the ad that also ran separately as a mysterious teaser in the Montreal area. (The only part of the campaign with any paid media.) There was even a working 800 number so viewers could leave messages for Greater Montreal's favorite car dealer on his office line.

The Bradyverse quickly expanded, with other legendary athletes, MLB and even Cooperstown jumping on the Brady Day bandwagon.

In the Bradyverse, apparently anything is possible. Including taking over the internet with a retired NFL quarterback’s BASEBALL card.
